TROPICAL STORM FLORENCE TO BECOME A HURRICANE BY NEXT WEEK
States of emergencies have been declared for Virginia, North and South Carolina’s in preparation of Tropical Storm Florence who’s set to become a hurricane by next week.
Forecasters expect Florence to become a "major hurricane" by Monday as it continues to approach the southeastern U.S. East Coast. It’s expected to travel between Bermuda and the Bahamas on Tuesday and Wednesday before approaching the southeastern U.S. coast on Thursday.
The National Hurricane Center says the storm could intensify to a Category 4 hurricane by midweek, but its path was still unclear.
