KEVIN DURANT TURNS DOWN $31.5 MILLION OPTION
Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant has declined his $31.5 million player option and is now an unrestricted free agent. Durant and his business manager Rich Kleiman are currently in New York where they've been mulling over Durant's free-agency options.
Durant, 30, can sign a four-year, $164 million deal with another team, and remains eligible to sign a five-year, $221 million deal with the Warriors. His possible considerations include the NY Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and the L.A. Clippers.
