NY rapper Jim Jones is one of the newest minority owners of American Arena League football team the Richmond Roughriders. Not only is he part owner, Jones will also promote the team in his songs and music videos. Last year was the team’s first season, they made it to the championships and won. Jones was there to perform during the half time show as well. Jim Jones has extended an offer to former NFL player and activist Colin Kaepernick, saying

"You know, he didn't get to play this year in the NFL and in Arena football he can keep his skills up to par, break some records, have some fun.”

That invitation was also extended to former NFL player Johnny Manizel. It seems that Jones really wants Colin on the team adding that he may have to pressure Colin into being apart of the Roughriders. Neither Colin or Johnny commented about the offer. The Richmond Roughriders kick of their second season in March of 2019.

TMZ sports caught up with Jim Jones, checkout the video below to hear his offer to Colin and his hopes for the team.
