“Black-Ish” actress Marsai Martin is featured on The Hollywood Reporter’s ”Top 30 Stars Under 18″.

The 13-year-old announced that she was executive producing and starring in her very own Universal comedy “Little” which centers around a woman who’ll get an opportunity to re-experience her youth after the pressures of adulthood begin to consume her. A reboot  version of the classic “Big” that starred Tom Hanks.

The script idea came about after she terminated a person from her team who failed to suggest new projects. “After firing the agent who suggested she ‘just chill and take a break’ during a hiatus, the executive producer of 2019’s Little conceived the film, a twist on Tom Hanks’ iconic comedy Big, and even convinced Issa Rae to star alongside her in the Universal feature,” Martin’s profile read on the “Top 30 Stars Under 18” list.

“Girls Trip” writer Tracy Oliver wrote the script that will be directed by Tina Gordon Chism. Also, actresses Regina Hall, Issa Rae and actor Josh Martin will help the teen star executive produce the film.
