CHRIS BROWN ARRESTED FOR 2017 BATTERY ASSAULT
Chris Brown was arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County jail late Thursday. He was wanted on a felony battery warrant from the Hilllsborough County Sheriff's office. He was released after paying a $2,000 bond which stems from a warrant that accused him of hitting photographer Bennie Vines Jr. in Tampa last year. The warrant accuses Brown of hitting a Vines, who was hired by a club in Tampa to take pictures during an event hosted by Brown in April 2017.
Brown walked off stage after his concert in Florida and into the hands of waiting deputies, who arrested him on a felony battery charge. Vines told officers Brown punched him while he was snapping photos. Brown was gone by the time officers arrived that night, and Vines refused medical treatment, but he told the officers that he wanted to prosecute over a minor lip cut.
