TRAVIS SCOTT PAYS TRIBUTE TO SANTA FE AT NBA PLAYOFFS
Travis Scott teamed with the Houston Rockets to pay tribute to the victims, survivors and first responders of the Santa Fe school shooting at game 5 of the NBA playoffs. During a ceremony prior to game 5 of the Western Conference Finals at Toyota Center in Houston, Santa Fe High School teachers and administrators received a standing ovation while a moment of silence was held for the shooting victims.
Team owner Tilman Fertitta and Scott (who is a huge Rockets fan) shared messages for those rocked by the tragedy. Scott deemed the administration and first responders “the strongest people on this earth” and thanked them for “being heroes to all of us.” The Rockets showed further support by sporting jersey patches in honor of those affected in Santa Fe.
