ROSEANNE REBOOT GETS HUGE RATINGS

The reboot of the ABC sitcom Roseanne gained massive ratings for Tuesday night’s two-episode premiere, with the first episode pulling in 17.7 million people and episode two with 18.6 million. Those enormous ratings also make Roseanne one of TV’s most successful new reboots, beating NBC’s Will and Grace revival, which gained 10 million viewers.

Considering the wildly popular ratings, this formula seems to be working, which means you can certainly expect to see a second season after this one is through. Barr herself has made it clear she’s interested in another season, speaking openly about her ideas for future episodes should the show get renewed.
